Do you know a 8-12 year old looking for a fun summer activity?

Scripps Ranch Theatre is offering a 2-week theater workshop with veteran youth instructor Katelyn Slater (recently Clown in “The 39 Steps”) where she’ll teach kids the theater improv with fun games, skits and scenes.

Embrace the magic of theater with our enriching two-week camp designed to ignite creativity and foster a love for the performing arts in children. Join us on this exciting journey where imagination knows no bounds, and every child is encouraged to explore their potential in a supportive and engaging environment. As they step into the spotlight, they will not only showcase their talents but also create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. This is their time to shine and to bask in the magic of the performing arts.

Kids will have a blast learning:

  • Improv
  • Skits
  • Scene work
  • Songs
  • Connection

Kids will have the opportunity to perform in a showcase for friends and family at the end of the workshop on July 20th.

No experience necessary.

Katelyn began acting at the age of twelve and started teaching and directing at the age of fifteen.
